Watercolor on paper, 4  x 8 inches (sight), 8  x 12 inches (frame), signed and dated lower left, lightly tipped onto a slightly larger black mount, conservation glass.  The misspelled title should be:  "L'ENNUI."

Evelyn was the daughter of Dr. B. P. Ivey of the Ivey Medicine Company of Memphis and, later, Nashville, Tennessee.  Mrs. B. P. Ivey, later widowed, moved to Birmingham, Alabama.  Mrs. Ivey, after her husband's death, licensed VIGOR-AID and the incorporated Ivey Medicine Company to P.C. Channell of Franklin, Tennessee and to T. T. Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee.
