An exceptional impressionist painting of a snow scene in early 20th century New York City. Mary E. Tuthill was a painter and sculptor who was born in 1880 and died in 1951 in Brooklyn, New York. She exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago in 1913 and 1916; and at the Society of Independent Artists in 1938.
