"SOUTHERN COIN SILVER LADLE" (ca. 1850's, signed E. A. Tyler, New Orleans)
Approximately: 12 ½ inches (length), 4 ½ x 3 ½ inches (oval bowl), 5.58 troy ounces (weight). Appears to be in excellent condition and no evidence of a monogram or its’ removal. The E. A. Tyler shop (1838 – 1879) was located on Canal Street, New Orleans. This ladle was probably retailed by the Tyler shop.
