"RARE EARLY SOUTHERN STAND/TABLE" (ca. 1795 - 1810, attributed to Elbert County, Georgia)
Approximate dimensions: 23 ½ inches (width of top), 16 ¼ inches (depth of top), 28 ¼ inches (total height).
The top is directional with a front and back. All walnut with peg construction, beading on front top and legs, cut corners on top, fluted apron front and sides, excellent splay to nicely tapered legs. Very early burn on top probably from a candle. Oral history attributes this table to Georgia.
